Ice skating
The best prepared ice skating rinks in Fügen and the neighboring communities of Kaltenbach, Stumm, or Strass im Zillertal will make the heart of every ice princess melt. Practice pirouettes on the ice or enjoy a game of ice stock with your friends!
Tobogganing
Tobogganing on the 1.5 km long floodlit toboggan run. Toboggans can be rented at the nearby Kostenzer ski rental - only 90 km away!
Night skiing
Free night skiing every Tuesday in Hochfügen. You can conquer the slopes with Zipfelbobs. Ski schools host spectacular ski shows - a special experience for a exceptional evening in the mountains. Music and drink stands invite you to enjoy a cheerful get-together and après-ski fun.
Ski touring and winter hiking
Ski touring is a special experience. Right at the Montana, you have the opportunity to head up the mountain on cross-country skis safely and almost all alone any time - whether early morning or after the end of lift operation. The Zillertal is a unique natural idyll even away from the slopes. Of course, the main thing is: safety first! Be sure to always be well-equipped or accompanied by an experienced ski instructor from our partner Kosetnzer in Hochfügen.
Explore the deep snow-covered winter landscape and the quiet of nature on secluded paths either accompanied or alone. Winter hiking and snowshoeing are one-of-a-kind nature experiences. You must bring sturdy footwear and winter clothing, and equipment can be rented. This is an unforgettable experience for romantics and nature lovers.
Cross-country skiing
The Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area also has a highlight to offer all fans of cross-country skiing. The Hochfügen high-altitude trail leads over 9 km from the lift ticket office towards the Gamsstein (Loas Saddle). This is highly recommended for those in search of a diverse tour.
